The charity received £1,000 in 2017 towards the purchase of 32 comfortable chairs for its Activity Club. The new chairs are stackable, allowing more space for activities such as carpet bowls and skittles. Age UK Horsham District is also able to rearrange its activity room for events such as bingo, allowing members to sit in small groups together. ‘Without the generous support of The W.G. Edwards Charitable Trust we would not have been able to improve our offer to our regular and new members, giving them the opportunity to further enhance their health and well-being.’
